Life keeps getting more exciting for Diane Kruger following the birth of her first born! The new mom opened up about life with her little girl and revealed things are a bit hectic at the moment.
“It’s already chaotic in the house. I don’t think it could get any worse,” the Troy actress, 42, joked during an interview with E! News on Monday, December 10. “It’s a great moment of joy. We have a lot to be thankful for. It’s been a wonderful year.”
As for the upcoming holiday celebrations, the Welcome to Marwen star gushed: “I’m just looking forward to having my own little family and be together and have take-out because I don’t think I can step away to cook.”
Kruger also dished on starting new traditions with her boyfriend, Norman Reedus, and their daughter.
“I think this is the beginning of new, because we both come from single mother families, you know, so growing up we never had the big family reunions,” she said. “What’s exciting is to start your own. And anything is possible and as long as my home is happy and light and positive, it doesn’t matter.”
Us Weekly confirmed in November that Kruger and Reedus, 49, had welcomed their first child together. The German-born actress accidentally slipped up on Monday revealing the sex of their newborn.
“She’s very little, but I’m tired,” Kruger said during an interview. “I feel like a superhero right now.”
Kruger and Reedus started dating in March 2017 and stepped out for their red carpet debut in January 2018. Prior to her relationship with the Walking Dead star, Kruger was married to Guillaume Canet from 2001 to 2006 and had a nearly 10 year relationship with Joshua Jackson before splitting in 2016.
