Parenting is her priority! Christmas Abbott shared a sweet message for her son, Loyal, following news of her arrest.
“How could I ever get enough of that sweet smile?! I literally can stare and watch him all day long just to watch him & maybe see a lil laugh or giggle,” the Big Brother alum, 36, wrote alongside an Instagram clip of her nearly 1-month-old son on Wednesday, November 7. “He simply lights up my heart & makes me so fulfilled!”

Abbott’s post comes one day after she turned herself into authorities in Tampa, Florida, on a felony charge of criminal mischief. She was release on her own recognizance less than one hour after she turned herself in. However, it is unclear why criminal mischief charges were brought against her.
Despite the recent events, Abbott clarified that her latest Instagram post was not meant to be a “teaching point.” Instead, the reality star aimed to share “just some simple love & appreciation for my son & all that he brings into my life. Abbott, who placed third on Big Brother season 19 in 2017, welcomed Loyal with her ex-boyfriend, fitness trainer Benjamin Bunn, in October.
Bunn, 36, spoke exclusively to Us Weekly after his son’s birth and revealed that he and Abbott have not been “romantically involved” since December 2017. He also added that he had “very little contact” with Abbott during her pregnancy, but was committed to coparenting with her through “compromise, patience and the ability to set your ego aside so you can make decisions that are truly best for the child.”
