She’s here! Amber Stevens West and her husband, Andrew J. West, welcomed their first child — a baby girl named Ava Laverne West — on October 7.
The 21 Jump Street actress, 31, announced her pregnancy in May with an Instagram collage of her growing baby bump.
At the couple’s co-ed baby shower in August, Amber gushed exclusively to Us Weekly about her husband of three years. (Amber and the Walking Dead actor, 34, met while playing boyfriend and girlfriend on former ABC Family series Greek in 2009. The show aired from 2007 to 2011.)
“Andrew loves to kiss and hug,” Amber told Us in August. “He’s already obsessed with this baby and every single day he’s, like, ‘I can’t wait for her to get get here. Where’s this baby? I need her to come now.’ Honestly, he’s going to be a much better parent than I am.”
Not only did Amber look gorgeous at her baby shower — she felt fantastic and revealed that she hadn’t suffered from any pregnancy symptoms such as swollen feet. “I’ve felt the whole time,” she told Us. “I had been warned by so any moms that being pregnant in the summertime is really difficult, just because you get get hot and sweaty and winded. But I haven’t had any of those issues. I’ve felt really myself.”
