Anthony Bourdain’s NYC Condo Is Now Available for Rent

Just two months after his death, Parts Unknown host Anthony Bourdain’s NYC apartment is now available for rent.

At just over 1,200 square feet, Bourdain’s condo in Columbus Circle was listed two weeks ago at $14,200 per month. According to Douglas Elliman Real Estate, the two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment located on the 64th floor of the Time Warner Center has a view of the Hudson River as well as having floor-to-ceiling windows, a kitchen with top-of-the-line appliances, hardwood floors and two walk-in closets. People says it was the chef’s home base in the city.

Bourdain reportedly rented this apartment before his death by suicide in June. According to Curbed New York, public records do not link Bourdain to the apartment, but he has referenced this apartment in past interviews. For instance, a March 2018 story published in The Wall Street Journal describes Bourdain’s apartment as "where he lives alone on the 64th floor of a Midtown skyscraper" and with windows that "stretch from floor to ceiling, looking south over Manhattan and west across the Hudson River" — clearly describing the apartment for rent to a T.

Bourdain also owned a $3.35 million condo on East 94th Street in 2014 with his ex-wife Ottavia Busia. They didn’t sell the home according to property records.

"I own an apartment with a mortgage that my ex-wife and my daughter live in, and I’m a renter. I should always be a renter," Bourdain told People early this year, in February. "I regret buying that apartment. The bank owns it, and then you’re stuck with it."

Take a look at photos of the condo up for rent, located in the luxury building that also comes with a health club, spa, a screening room, a sundeck, full-time doormen and more.
