Will Jack Brooksbank wear a wedding ring? The royal custom which suggests he could go without

So, will Jack ever wear one? Here's everything you need to know about royal custom.

Will Jack Brooksbank wear a wedding ring?

It doesn't look as though Jack is going to wear a wedding band.

His and Princess Eugenie's order of service revealed that only one ring would be used – for Eugenie.

It read: "The Dean shall say a prayer of blessing for the ring.

"Then the Man put the ring upon the fourth finger of the Woman’s left hand, and holding the ring shall say…"

It went on to state their vows, and then went straight back to the Dean's speech.

During this part of the ceremony, we saw Jack struggling with Eugenie's ring.

But she never had to return the favour.

What is royal custom?

It's been royal custom for generations for men not to wear wedding rings.

Prince William decided to stick with tradition, although Prince Harry broke the mould and wears a wedding band to match wife Meghan Markle's.

Prince Philip has never sported one, and while Prince Charles does, he stacks it with a signet ring on his little finger.

Eugenie's father Prince Andrew also wore a signet ring during his 10-year marriage to Sarah Ferguson, Duchess of York.

Now that Jack's a member of the Royal Family, it seems he's following their tradition.
