As the orange-haired president launched another tirade against the flagship program, he filled the stage with his supporters.
But as Trump droned on, people were focusing less on his words and more on the people in the background.
One woman to be precise, and in particular her eyebrows.
Standing squarely behind the 72-year-old was a woman with what appears to be drawn-on brows.
While the president is the punchline of many jokes about his appearance – from his tan to his hair – for once it was someone else in the firing line.
The woman's take on eyebrows has been mocked online, with a thread posted on Reddit questioning her attempt at brows.
They captioned the tread: "Nothing about politics. Just wanted to point out this woman's eyebrows."
The post has racked up more than 400 comments, with people comparing her brows to everything from Nike ticks to a maths equation.
One person wrote: “That's what happens to your face when you try to make sense of what he is saying.”
Another commented: “Those eyebrow-pencil atrocities on the lady's forehead should be punishable by UN sanctions, sure.”
This person thought she had a bright future ahead of her, saying: “I think she’s going for the first real live emoji, but I could be wrong.”
While this person thought it was a distraction technique, writing: “I'm convinced that she did that on purpose so her real reactions to the bulls**t he was spewing wouldn't be obvious.”
And this person questioned her entire morning routine, commenting: “Think about it – she actively drew these on her own face, checked/rechecked herself in the mirror and somehow decided, “I’m happy with this.” Craziness!”
Someone else wrote: “Who let her go on TV like that? Don’t they have makeup artists?”
While this person suggested: “That lady should be angry at whoever is responsible for that.
"Maybe she could convince somebody to draw some angry eyebrows for her.”
These people compared her brows to daily objects, with one person asking: “Is this an ad for a Nike commercial??”
Another said: “What's the square root of her face?”
Taking a sensible approach, this person wrote: “It's not good to make fun of appearances because people can't do anything about it generally, but that s**t on her brow is a choice.”
At least it added some excitement to one of Trump’s press conferences.
