Parents are now revealing their babies' genders by cutting into coloured lasagnes – and they cost £108.


Originally an American tradition, baby showers are becoming a big thing here in Britain these days.

Gender reveals are often done by popping balloons to reveal coloured confetti or cutting into a cake.

But now America's Villa Italian Kitchen has taken things one step further – with a pasta dish where the cheese and Alfredo sauce are either dyed blue for a boy or pink for a girl.

The dish only serves 12 people, so afraid only your closest friends and family will be able to share the moment and indulge in the pastel coloured pasta dish – unless you invest in a few.

We can't really see this one catching on, but it's certainly creative.
