Meghan Markle wears designer Australian jeans and Serena Williams jacket on Oz tour with Prince Harry

The Duchess of Sussex wore Aussie brand Outland denim as she stepped off the plane in the city of Dubbo today.

Her smart-casual look included a  shirt from Maison Kitsune and boots from J Crew.

Meghan's jacket was from her good mate Serena Williams collection and necklace by Natalie Martin.

The royal couple – who announced they were expecting their first child on the eve of their first overseas tour together – will help celebrate 90 years of the Royal Flying Doctor Service while there.

They will also visit farmers hit by drought and travel to Victoria Park for a picnic to celebrate community spirit.

Mum-to-be Meghan and Harry will then spend their afternoon visiting a local school working young Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islanders.

The Duke of Sussex said he and his wife "could not think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby" than Australia.

Kensington Palace revealed that their first child is due next spring, with Meghan saying they are both "excited" about parenthood.

The couple were given the first toys for the new arrival, with the parents-to-be handed a soft kangaroo and joey by his Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove and his wife, Lady Cosgrove, at a welcoming ceremony at their Admiralty House residence in Sydney, overlooking the harbour.

It was at the same venue hours later where Harry, addressing an afternoon reception, said: "We couldn't think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby".
