Is the royal baby due in March? New mum who met Meghan Markle reveals she's 'four months pregnant'

Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, 34, may have only announced the pregnancy news on Monday, but their baby could be due as soon as March, according to a mum who met the Duchess of Sussex this week.

It's generally considered safe to announce a pregnancy from the 12-week mark, but Aussie singer Missy Higgins has claimed the 37-year-old former Suits actress is already four months pregnant.

The 35-year-old singer, who's toured with Ed Sheeran, brought her nine-week-old tot Lunar to meet the royals on Tuesday – just hours after the baby news broke.

Posting on Instagram after the event, she wrote: "What an honour to meet the beautiful Duchess today!

"She was such a sweetheart. I said I felt sorry for her having to do all these meet-and-greets while 4 months pregnant! What a trooper. "

Missy also praised Prince Harry, adding: "(He) was gorgeous too, a real charmer. He squeezed Luna’s legs and said 'who’s this little cutie?'

"Looking forward to telling Luna she slept through it all one day".

If Meghan give birth in March, the royal baby will share a birthday month with Princess Eugenie (March 23) and Prince Edward (March 10).

Kensington Palace revealed the couple's first baby in due in Spring 2019 – which could be any time between March 20 and June 21.

If the baby is due in March, that would mean Meghan fell pregnant in mid-June – just a month after their gorgeous wedding at St George's Chapel, Windsor Castle.

Some people have said Meghan is already showing, which also could suggest she is further than three months gone.

First-time mums normally develop a baby bump any time between 12 and 16 weeks, according to Baby Centre.

Kate Middleton announced her pregnancies early, because she suffers from extreme morning sickness.

In more baby news, Meghan is ‘raring to go’ while ‘protective’ Harry is ‘anxious’ about becoming a dad, a body language expert reveals.

While the duchess wore an Aussie designer brand and Serena Williams jacket on day two of Oz tour with Harry.

And Meghan and Harry DIDN’T announce their baby news at Princess Eugenie’s wedding – according to a royal source.
