Black Friday was originally an American holiday so, being the definition of an all-American store, GAP certainly knows how to do it well.
While other retailers dabble in 20% off promotions, GAP goes all-out.

What should I look out for in the GAP Black Friday sale?
Outwear: There are some really directional styles this season including animal print numbers and shaggy shearling overcoats, as well as classic bombers and borg cord jackets.
Winter woolies: Hats, scarves, mittens and more! Gap is the king of cute knitwear and we are obsessed with this season's stripy rainbow and fair isle intarsia sets – they make for perfect stocking filler.
Pyjamas: Again, perfect for Christmas – check out the knitted onesies, flannel and fair isle pyjamas as well as sets that come complete with a matching sleep mask.
Kids clothes: Another area GAP excels in – shop girls, boys and baby clothes.
Underwear: Stock up on socks, tights, boxers and lingerie basics like cotton triangle bras.
Tracksuits: Yes, that GAP hoodie is iconic but the ultra soft fleece lined joggers and comfortable sweatshirts are just as good.
