Supermarket chain Aldi have unveiled their Christmas hamper range for 2018.
This year’s offering, inspired by the pricey hampers from Fortnum & Mason’s that can retail for a whopping £1,000, are available to pre-order on aldi.co.uk from today (24 September).
And luckily for shoppers on a budget Aldi’s versions start from an affordable £24.99.
There are a range of price points, with the most expensive – the premium Exquisite Hamper – costing £99.99, it comes presented in a beautiful wicker basket and is packed with an assortment of specially hand-finished products.
As last year’s hampers sold-out in record time, the supermarket chain has double the amount that will be on sale this year, but we still advise you to get in there quick if you want to snap one up for yourself or a loved one this Christmas.
Julie Ashfield, Managing Director of Buying at Aldi, says: “Aldi’s Christmas hamper collection offers our customers the chance to treat loved ones to something really luxurious this Christmas. With so many expensive hampers on the market at this time of year, our dedicated buying teams have worked hard to create a selection of hampers that excite and delight at every price point.”
Customers are advised to order by 17 December for free Christmas delivery.

Aldi’s Exquisite Hamper (£99.99)
The most luxurious one of the bunch may be Aldi’s priciest but it is still a faction of the cost of Fortnum & Mason’s Family Christmas Hamper which retails for £225. Aldi’s version contains six new artisanal items for 2018 which include a giant sharing mince pie and Lot Series Argentinian Malbec.
Christmas Feast Hamper (£79.99)
The feast hamper is brimming with 18 different Christmas favourites, including Florentines, Prosecco flavoured Honeycomb and hand-baked crackers. There’s bound to be something in there for everyone in the family.
Specially Selected Luxury Hamper (£59.99)
Alongside classic items from last year, shoppers will also get to enjoy a host of new products including festive cranberry and clementine fudge and Stollen Bites alongside plenty of booze, all beautifully presented in a wicker basket.
Specially Selected Treats Hamper (£34.99)
The specially treats hamper is great for anyone who loves to curl up with a hot drink or a glass of red as it’s filled with plenty of indulgent and wintery treats.
Festive Delights Hamper (£24.99)
