Will Meghan Markle attend Pippa Middleton’s wedding as Prince Harry’s date?

With Pippa Middleton’s strict “no ring, no bring” invite rule in place for her wedding next month, the question on everyone’s lips has been, “Will Meghan Markle be on the arm of Prince Harry, since he has yet to get on bended knee?”

Now People are reporting she will … “but there’s a catch”.

‘A line had been crossed’, writes Prince Harry about press coverage of his new American girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle.

Australian author Adam Wallace had ‘no idea’ his book, How to Catch the Easter Bunny would be read at Donald Trump’s first Easter Egg Roll.

Pop star Lady Gaga finds a cure for movie budget blowouts: instead of paying for extras, just charge fans for the privilege of being in her new film A Star Is Born.

Police investigating the death a year ago of pop star Prince found numerous opioids scattered around his home but appear not to have identified where or who supplied the dose of fentanyl that caused his death.

Mark Hamill, John Boyega and Kelly Marie Tran hint at the plot of The Last Jedi at the ‘Star Wars Celebration’ fan event in Orlando, Florida.

‘A line had been crossed’, writes Prince Harry about press coverage of his new American girlfriend, actress Meghan Markle.

The publication claims that Meghan, 35, will sit out Kate’s younger sister saying “I do” to wealthy financier James Matthews at St. Mark’s Church in Englefield, England, on Saturday, May 20, but she will be in attendance for the celebrations with Harry, 32, later in the evening.

“The source adds that protocol prohibits unmarried and un-engaged partners to attend the event, but they are more likely to attend the big bash afterwards, which tends to be less formal,” People claims.

In the British Royal family, plus-ones are generally only extended to couples who are engaged or married – the phrase “no ring, no bring” is often used to describe the idea.

While it’s entirely up to Pippa, 33, and James, 41, who attends their wedding, Harry has not always been a big believer in royal protocol, even breaking the traditional stiff upper lip approach over the weekend to speak about enduring two years of “total chaos” while struggling with the death of his mother, Princess Diana.

In March, he took Meghan as his guest to his close friends Tom Inskip and Lara Hughes-Young’s wedding in Jamaica and, on Sunday, he skipped the usual royal Easter tradition of attending services at St. George’s Chapel, near Windsor Castle with Queen Elizabeth II and his family to spend the holidays with Meghan in Toronto, Canada.

While Meghan has been introduced to Catherine, the Duchess of Cambridge, (she reportedly gifted her a dream journal during their meeting) and Prince William, it’s believed she has yet to meet Pippa and her husband-to-be.

Also, Pippa and James would have most likely finalised their wedding guestlist around September time last year, before the Suits actress and the prince made their relationship public in November.

Harry and Meghan should not feel hard done by because not even the girlfriend of Made in Chelsea star Spencer Matthews, 27, the best man and James’ brother, made the cut.

Irish model, Vogue Williams, 31, who split from husband Brian McFadden last year, did not get an invite, which is just as well as she said she’s too busy to go anyway.

“Vogue has a prior engagement in her diary on the date of the wedding, but wishes Pippa and James all the best on their special day,” a representative said on her behalf.

Also on the guestlist is Pippa’s brother James Middleton with his girlfriend, Donna Air, and tennis player, Roger Federer.

Arguably the most important guests, Prince George, three, and Princess Charlotte, two in May, will act as Pippa and James’ page boy and flower girl.

It has yet to be confirmed if Kate will return the favour and act as Pippa’s maid-of-honour.
