Last night, singer Tinashe already looked like one of the strongest contestants and an early favorite to win the 27th Season of Dancing With The Stars. Pairing with Brandon Armstrong, a dancer in his first season on DWTS, Tinashe performed a Jive and tied for first place on the season opener.
Among the other young stars in the competition this season, Instagram model Alexis Ren and Disney actor Milo Manheim both performed reasonably well, with scores toward the top of the leaderboard, while Harry Potter-actress Evanna Lynch didn’t, receiving a score that put her near the bottom.
Tonight, the celebs will perform a second dance. Then they face the season’s first elimination.
