‘The Mountain’ from ‘Game of Thrones’ weds girlfriend

Ain’t no “mountain” high enough for these two.

Hafþór Júlíus Björnsson, who plays Gregor “The Mountain” Clegane on HBO’s “Game of Thrones,” wed fitness guru Kelsey Morgan Henson in Iceland over the weekend.

“It is with great pleasure that I now get to call Kelsey Morgan Henson my wife!❤️,” 29-year-old Björnsson, who also holds the title of World’s Strongest Man of 2018, shared on Instagram on Saturday. “I get to hold this beautiful woman through thick and thin for the rest of our lives! I’m so excited for all of the future adventures we will tackle side by side. @kelc33 ?? #justmarried.”

Henson, 28, also shared her excitement on social media, writing, “Looking forward to pulling this big guy around for the rest of my life. ♥️ @thorbjornsson I love you now and forever and promise to stand by your side through all that life throws at us. I love you baby!”

The 6-foot-9-inch groom wore a traditional black suit while the bride, who is just 5 feet 2 inches tall, wore a short white gown.

The pair met in Henson’s native Canada in September 2017 when she recognized the actor and asked for a photo with him, according to Us Weekly.

With the couple’s major height difference, it’s quite likely that when Björnsson kissed the bride, he had to “bend the knee.”
