The football fanatic further showcased his love for Celtic as he took his two youngest children Aiden and Alistair, 11, to a Ladbrokes Scottish Premiership match in Glasgow two weeks ago.
In his personal life, the rocker now enjoys a good relationship with all of his children.
He claims this is thanks to his model wife Penny Lancaster-Stewart, 46, who he tied the knot with in 2007 in Portofino, Italy.
Speaking on ITV1’s Lorraine recently, he said: ‘She literally did bring the family together.
‘I’ve got eight children and I think I am appreciating it more now in old age than I ever did before. I really cherish those moments.’
Rod shares his two youngest children with the stunning model; Alastair, 11, and Aiden, six.Before Penny, Rod was married to Australian model Rachel Hunter, 47, from 1990 to 2006, who he shares son Liam, 24, and daughter Renée, 22, with.
Rod fathered his first child Sarah Streeter, 53, who was raised by adoptive parents, in his twenties with art student Susannah Boffey.
The musician also raises daughter Ruby, 29, with model ex-girlfriend Kelly Emberg, 57.
