Seann Walsh’s ex Rebecca Humphries threw her support behind a host of domestic abuse charities on Tuesday morning following her former boyfriend’s heartbreaking kiss with his Strictly co-star Katya Jones.
Hours after posting a lengthy and empowering statement in response to images showing the dance partners locking lips last week, the actress retweeted and favourited tweets praising her handling of the situation, while also giving a nod to messages she received from Scottish Women’s Aid and Broxtowe Women’s Project.
As the scandal rumbles on, Katya, who is married to fellow Strictly professional Neil Jones, was spotted emerging in London for the first time since the statement was released as she appeared ashen-faced in the midst of the ongoing drama while keeping her wedding ring firmly in place.

On Monday evening, Rebecca dumped the comedian over social media after the pictures emerged. The actress hit out at Seann, 32, in a statement, revealing the images of him kissing Katya, 29, were taken on her birthday on October 3, as she sat at home alone after he told her they were going for ‘a quiet drink’.
She also revealed she had suspicions about her boyfriend cheating for at least three weeks, but claimed when she brought it up, he called her a ‘psycho’ and accused her of being ‘nuts’.

Rebecca’s Twitter account has been inundated with messages of support – and she has liked around a dozen including one saying her boyfriend had ‘made a fool of her’.
Another she backed said: ‘I’ve been thinking about you all day, i don’t know you but the whole thing is just so cruel & heartbreaking! Something similar happened to me once & it knocked me off my feet because i wasnt expecting it all, so i can vaguely relate to your pain! You got this girl x’.
MailOnline has contacted representatives for Seann and Rebecca for comment. There is nothing to suggest any domestic abuse occurred in the couple’s relationship.

Posting on Monday evening, when it was revealed that Strictly bosses have re-choreographed the pair’s dance for this Saturday’s show to make it less sexy, Rebecca said she was not sure about whether to publicly respond – but felt she had to ‘clear up’ the narrative.
She went on to reveal Seann and Katya have not attempted to pick up the pieces – but that her family, friends and strangers had been there for her. In a heartbreaking revelation, she also revealed she was waiting for Seann at home on her birthday – while he was kissing his Strictly co-star.
In response to her questions over why he was not joining her – the comedian allegedly returned a flurry of insults.

Before the dance was changed, the pair were set to perform a rumba, salsa, or Argentine tango – three of the most passionate dances on Strictly.
But they will now perform something where Seann looks sombre and Katya is wearing something that isn’t revealing.
The pair were reportedly at the Duke Of York pub in Marylebone in Central London at around midnight on Wednesday.
An onlooker who witnessed Seann and Katya’s kiss, told the Sun they were ‘snogging like a pair of teenagers’ and ‘didn’t seem to care who might see them’.
However, Seann and Katya both had haunted expressions on Monday morning as they emerged for the first time since pictures emerged of their drunken yet passionate kiss on a London street.
Walsh, 32, appeared with baggy eyes outside his home just before 11am after Rebecca had then merely hinted that she had ‘binned’ him following his betrayal shortly before releasing her statement.
Comedian Seann refused to comment to waiting journalists as he wandered up and down the street before getting into a waiting black Mercedes.

Actress Rebecca Humphries has been dating Seann Walsh for around five years. The pair live together in London.
Before her stage career Miss Humphries trained at the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art.
Rebecca is best known for appearing as Molly in National Theatre Live: The Kitchen (2011).
She has also appeared on ITV’s Cockroaches, BBC’s Hold the Sunset and Come Fly With Me.
The actress starred in Wild Honey and at the Edinburgh Fringe Festival.
She also wrote Prom Kween, a show based on the first ever non binary teenager to win the coveted US high school title.
Miss Humphries recently took a diversion from the stage to take up a role writing for Vogue.
She started a sixth month role at Condè Nast Traveller magazine in August.
Seann was pictured scratching his head as he appeared outside his flat in West London wearing a black jacket, black and white striped T-shirt, dark jeans and white Nike trainers, last week.
Meanwhile married Katya was stony-faced after leaving the home she shares with husband Neil ahead of another day of rehearsals with Seann.
The Russian dancer, 29, wore a casual grey top and jogging bottoms while making her way towards a waiting car.
It was confirmed that the duo will perform on Strictly next Saturday and a source told MailOnline: ‘Seann was pictured going to dance training for next Saturday’s show earlier today.
‘No one is pulling out of the show. It is business as usual for all of the Strictly parties involved. The dance couple Seann and Katya have already apologised publicly.
‘They will be carrying on as normal this week, where the only time they’ll be adding to that will be on the BBC’s Strictly show It Takes Two. And that will take place later this week on a date yet to be confirmed.
‘But that will be it in terms of anyone on the show speaking out. There are no meetings with bosses scheduled in light of what’s happened over the weekend.
‘All the bosses were around and discussed everything in full when the story first broke on Saturday night.’
The heartbreaking images came just days after Rebecca praised her boyfriend on Instagram, sharing an image of him and Katya.
She wrote: ‘I can’t b****y breathe. These two legends are working their a***s off. Walsh has been doing moves on holiday, in coffee shops, around Westfield, at the pub, in his sleep. We have moved half our (very heavy) furniture to create a Shepherds Bush at home dance studio. I am LIVING for it. Get. behind. them.’

Fans were quick to comment on the statement, angrily demanding that Seann should quit the show due to his and Katya’s actions. The pair have pulled out of a scheduled TV appearance on Lorraine this Thursday.
Lorraine confirmed the news to viewers on Monday, saying: ‘They were booked to appear on this very show, but have suddenly become unavailable. They’re not coming on.’ If they do stay on the show, it’s going to be so awkward. What do you say? Yikes.’
The Scottish television presenter added: ‘I think because they apologised quickly we should give them a second chance. But I don’t think that people will vote for them.’ The incident also prompted furious debate on Monday’s edition of Loose Women, with the panel divided over their actions.

Discussing the incident, Stacey Solomon admitted: ‘Part of me feels sorry for them. Perhaps it was a reckless, silly thing that they did just when they were drunk. Maybe they didn’t mean to do it’.
Ruth Langsford, who participated on the show in 2017, added: ‘I used to end my training with Anton with a hug, and a “well done partner, you worked hard.” But I didn’t finish the day by falling on top of him and sticking my tongue in his mouth. Eamonn was never worried because I would absolutely never behave like that.’
Bookmakers have made the pair hot favourites to be axed from the programme, with online bookie Betfair pricing Seann up at 6/4 to depart the programme after the upcoming weekend’s performances, with doctor Ranj Singh the next likely to leave at 3/1.
Betfair Spokesperson Katie Baylis said: ‘It’s been quite the weekend for Seann Walsh who went from hero to zero on the Strictly dancefloor with his stomping paso doble with partner Katya Jones. The judges loved the raw passion shown between them, which clearly spilled into the night after pictures of the pair snogging emerged the next day.

Marian tweeted to say: ‘Hello. I’m putting ALL THREE of my AGINs on Seannnnnn Walsh and if anyone has any spare AGINs oging, I’ll take them offa you. His poor girlfriend! (This means I’m lifting my AGINs from Faye and The Curtain Wiper and Doctor Ranj and Jeanette)’.
AGIN means taking against someone – and is a phrase used by the author and her followers while watching Strictly based on who they dislike on the show.

Viewers took to Twitter in their droves as they commented on the ‘cringing and awkward’ dance to the ‘appropriate song’ which features the lyrics: ‘Got a license to kill, anyone who tries to tear us apart.’
While showcasing their fancy footwear, Katya and Neil twirled around the stage while the ‘Empress Of Soul’, 74, showcased her award-winning vocals.
Fans quickly pointed out that their performance was seemingly convenient, with one fan tweeting: ‘Katya & Neil dancing to Licence to Kill (anyone who tries to tear us apart) Yikes!! #Strictly.’

Taking to Twitter, the stars praised the 32-year-old actress for her ‘powerful’ statement about her break-up from the comedian on Monday, where she revealed Seann, also 32, kissed his dance partner Katya Jones on her birthday, and called her a ‘pyscho’.
While the Come Fly With Me star insisted she’s ‘not a victim’, she accused the comedian of ‘inappropriate and hurtful’ behaviour, and claimed he had not apologised to her personally.

Hours before the wave of support, Rebecca spoke out for the first time after pictures emerged of her ex, 32, kissing Russian pro Katya, 29, who has been married to husband Neil for over five years.
The auburn-haired beauty made a bold statement as she dumped Seann over Twitter, revealing she had suspicions about her boyfriend cheating for at least three weeks.
Now, proven to be right the actress who says she is yet to received a first hand apology said she has left him and taken the cat and is ‘not sorry’ for doing so.
Posting on Monday evening, Rebecca said she was not sure about whether to publicly respond – but felt she had to ‘clear up’ the narrative.
‘Those pictures were taken on October 3rd. It was my birthday. I was alone at home when Seann texted at 10pm saying the two of them were going for one innocent drink’, she wrote in her lengthy message.
Rebecca continued: ‘We spoke and I told him, not for the first time, that his actions over the past three weeks had led me to believe something inappropriate was going on. He aggressively and repeatedly called me a psycho/nuts/mental. As he had done countless times throughout our relationship when I’ve questioned his inappropriate, hurtful behaviour.’
Injecting her passage with reassurance, she insisted she’s a ‘strong, capable person’ who is now ‘free’ — and encourages other women to ‘believe in their instincts’.

Sending his apologies on social media, Seann wrote on Twitter on Sunday: ‘I would like to offer my sincere apologies for my actions. This is no excuse but it was a one-off drunken mistake which I am truly sorry for.’
Katya also tweeted about the incident and said: ‘I’m so sorry about any offence or hurt I may have caused with my actions. I wasn’t thinking and it was a one-off mistake after some drinks. I love my husband and we are very happy together, this is not a reflection on our relationship’.
