Sarah Silverman posted a thread of tweets on Monday night explaining the double standard she thinks exists between male and female comics. While she said she had to chose her career over having children, she doesn’t believe men have it the same way.
Silverman admitted that her idea of a “fullest life” may not align with everyone else’s, after columnist and “mama of 2” Ada Slivinski said becoming a mother was the best thing that happened to her.
While Sarah was talking from the perspective of a female comics, many took issue with her stance and piled on her on social media. Worth noting: Silverman has been very vocal against President Donald Trump, and a lot of her critics seem support him.
So far, Slivinski is the only comment Silverman has responded to.
