Reebok has some pretty strong words for Donald Trump following his sexist comments towards Brigitte Macron last week.
The US President told the French First Lady that she was in “great shape”, before turning to her husband, Emmanuel Macron, and repeating the words again – this time with hand movements to emphasise his point. Unsurprisingly, his remarks have prompted backlash on social media for being ‘offensive” and “inappropriate”. Reebok were among the detractors, sharing a witty graphic presenting the scenarios when you should and shouldn’t tell a woman that they’re in good shape.
“Are you a world leader greeting the spouse of a head of state?” the graph asked. If so, the answer is no, you should probably steer clear. The only situation where it was deemed acceptable to make the comment was if you’ve just found a “forgotten action figure from your youth, unscathed after decades, in your parents’ basement”.

The graphic went viral over the weekend as others showed their approval by resharing it. Trump has, thus far, not yet responded.
