Princess Eugenie’s resemblance to her mom, Sarah Ferguson, is undeniable on her royal wedding today. The mother-daughter duo were seen flashing the same smile at the ceremony, proving they’re basically identical (if you haven’t already noticed).
Ferguson—who is also known as Sarah, Duchess of York—arrived to the ceremony with her older daughter, Princess Beatrice, the maid of honor. She went the monochrome route in an emerald Emma Louise wrap dress and matching wide-brim hat by milliner Jess Collett. She grinned at fans while exiting the car.
Her 28-year-old daughter made a similar expression when she made her grande entrance. As she walked down the aisle, escorted by her father Prince Andrew, she also gave an excited smile to guests gathered in St. George’s Chapel.
Ferguson had her own royal wedding to Prince Andrew in 1986, but they divorced ten years later. “I wanted to work; it’s not right for a princess of the royal house to be commercial, so Andrew and I decided to make the divorce official so I could go off and get a job,” she previously told Harper’s BAZAAR in 2011.
The Duchess of York wore a satin Lindka Cierach bridal gown when she tied the knot at Westminster Abbey, complete with a full ball skirt and puff sleeves. Her daughter, on the other hand, wore a Peter Piloto dress with fitted sleeves, a portrait neckline, and woven details on the jacquard fabric.
Ferguson and Prince Andrew still remain on good terms despite their very public separation. The former couple sat next to each other at today’s ceremony, and the mother of the bride gave her daughter the sweetest loving look from her seat.
