Natalie Portman’s ‘Vox Lux’ comes with trigger warning

New movie “Vox Lux,” starring Natalie Portman as a school shooting survivor who becomes a pop star, came with a disclaimer from director Brady Corbet at a screening.

“Just a heads up, in light of many things happening this month, that there is a traumatic event in the opening of the film involving a shooting,” Corbet told the audience, including Sebastian Stan, Imogen Poots and John Stossel, at the Whitby Hotel.

“If you’re not up for it tonight and don’t want to sit through [it], I understand.”

No one left, as far as we know.
