Meghan Markle compares pregnancy to jet lag

Meghan Markle has turned to yoga to cope with the discomforts of her pregnancy.

“Meghan told me that pregnancy was like having jet lag,” Bondi Beach, Australia, local Christine Connell told Sky News Friday. “She said she was up at 4:30 a.m. this morning doing yoga in her room as she couldn’t sleep.”

Markle, 37, has been a lifelong yoga enthusiast, thanks to her mother, Doria Ragland, who’s a yoga instructor.

The former “Suits” starlet and Prince Harry were on hand to mark Fluoro Friday, a mental health awareness event, as part of their Australian tour.

Sky News reported that Harry, 34, and the Duchess of Sussex sat with a group for 15 minutes discussing mental health, an issue close to Harry’s heart, as he’s spoken about his own struggles following the death of his mother, Princess Diana, when he was just 12 years old.

“Each and every one of us will experience poor mental health,” Harry reportedly told the group. “It doesn’t discriminate.”

Another local gushed of the royal couple, who went barefoot on the beach with locals, “It was amazing — they’re such beautiful, down-to-earth people.”

Harry and Markle announced Monday that they’re expecting their first child.

Earlier this week, Harry spoke about Markle’s pregnancy for the first time, telling a crowd Down Under, “We also, genuinely, couldn’t think of a better place to announce the upcoming baby, be it a boy or girl, so thank you very much.”
