Meg Ryan drops in on son Jack Quaid’s Comic Con panel

Jack Quaid — the son of Meg Ryan and Dennis Quaid — is making a name for himself by starring in the upcoming Amazon series “The Boys.” But at a New York Comic Con panel for the show, eagle-eyed spies noticed that his famous mom “snuck into the third row as soon as the lights went down.”

Said a source, “Ryan beamed throughout the presentation and snapped pics when her son walked onstage.”

During the discussion, Quaid made a surprise announcement by calling “Mission: Impossible” star Simon Pegg to the stage.

Ever since the show — being produced with Sony Pictures Television and adapted from a comic book about a CIA squad that keeps superheroes in line — was announced, fanboys have buzzed that Pegg could be involved, since his likeness was used in the comics to portray Hughie, the character Quaid plays.

Pegg confirmed that he will appear in the series as Hughie’s dad.

Organizers had sneaked Pegg in with a scarf wrapped around his head.

“I felt like Michael Jackson,” Pegg said in the green room beforehand.

“The Boys” also stars “Star Trek’s” Karl Urban, Elisabeth Shue and Jennifer Esposito.
