This weekend, Mandy Moore and musician Taylor Goldsmith wed in a private, backyard ceremony in Los Angeles, E! reports, and the fashion details of the event have just been revealed via Entertainment Tonight and Instagram.
The actress teased what she’d wear down the aisle in an interview with People this past summer, making it clear she wouldn’t be seen in a “stereotypical white wedding dress.” The actress, who has been married once before to musician Ryan Adams, has seemingly undergone a style evolution in recent years. Throughout her red carpets and promotional appearances for hit show This is Us, Moore’s style seems to have slowly transitioned from classic and elegant to at-times forward-thinking and edgy–and her wedding dress is Exhibit A.

To complement the look, the bride donned a like-colored pink tulle veil with scattered floral embroidery, along with rosy cheeks and glittering pink eye shadow. The gown hovered just above the floor, showing off blush satin shoes with a crystal buckle. The look was originally posted by Moore’s makeup artist, although she’s since removed the image from her feed–but not before one of Moore’s fan accounts spotted the absolutely stunning bride.
Moore worked with Laura and Kate Mulleavy of Rodarte for a riff on one of the brand’s Spring 2019 designs for her walk down the aisle. She has worked with the design duo for some standout red carpet moments in the past as well, most notably for the 2018 Emmy Awards. Mandy’s bridal gown was originally shown as a blush and black gown, rather than a tonal all-pink look, which the brand created for her exclusively. With the year’s royal weddings showcasing all things classic, Moore’s bridal gown is a welcome, fashion-forward change to the super-traditional mix of this year’s celebrity wedding gowns.
According to E!, only an intimate, 50-person guest list was able to view Moore’s bridal glory in person. The event included many VIP guests, including Moore’s This is Us co-stars Sterling K. Brown, Milo Ventimiglia, and Christy Metz, along with Minka Kelly and Wilmer Valderrama.
