Madison Beer heads out to lunch with a gal pal in Los Angeles on Wednesday afternoon (November 14).
The 19-year-old singer just dropped her brand new single and video for “Hurts Like Hell”.
Chatting with Paper magazine, Madison says that the track and video treatment is a prelude of what fans can expect on her forthcoming album.
“I feel like it’s an important message that I try to push,” Madison says of female empowerment. “The [new] album is a mixture, I would say. I feel like there are songs on my album where I’m a little more vulnerable and I’m not as, ‘you gotta be a bad b****,’ all the time.”
She added, “I try to have a little more of a sense of humanity on my album. But my singles are probably, they’re usually super, like, female empowerment, bad b****, like you-can-do-anything type messaging.”
