Lisa Armstrong reunited with dog she shares with Ant McPartlin amid divorce row

Lisa Armstrong might have a lot on her mind with her impending divorce but she had a huge smile on her face as she stepped out today.

The makeup artist has had a difficult year after she split from Ant McPartlin and discovered that he’s now in a relationship with her former friend and PA Anne-Marie Corbett.

But the heartache in her private life melted away when she was reunited with her chocolate Labrador Hurley.

The spring was back in her step as she headed out in the sunshine to take her beloved pooch to the vet.

And it seems Hurley was happy to be back with his mama as he pulled excitedly on his lead before dutifully jumping in the boot of Lisa’s car.

Lisa and Ant are still sharing joint custody of their dog as their bitter divorce row rages on.

Last month while she was in LA, Lisa shared a picture of her dog on Instagram and wrote: "My baby boy #misshimsomuch."

But while they still haven’t agreed on their divorce, it seems the former couple are managing to split custody of their pet.

Ant is said to have offered Lisa their £6million mansion in Chiswick, west London, if she signs soon – but without her signature, their divorce could limp along for five more years.

It’s believed he’s doing everything he can to speed up the process, offering her enormous chunks of his £60million fortune.

But her Stateside break and glamorous newly blonde makeover, Lisa is feeling stronger and more determined to stick to her guns, say pals.

Lisa’s been working as a makeup artist alongside close friend Stephen Mulhern on the new series of his show In For A Penny, In For A Grand – an offshoot of the sketch he performed on Saturday Night Takeaway.

"Her friends think she’s found solace knowing she was coming back to the UK to work with a team of close mates, including Stephen, who she’s worked with previously, and she knows they will look after her – especially after she was axed from Saturday Night Takeaway," a source told Mirror Online.

Meanwhile, Ant also made his first public appearance since pulling out of this year’s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! series.

He was spotted wandering down a road in south west London yesterday, dressed in his dog-walking clothes.

Ant, 42, has told fans that while his recovery is on track, he doesn’t feel well enough to return to work just yet.

"My recovery is going very well and for that to continue having spoken to Dec and ITV, I have made the decision to take the rest of the year off," he said in a statement .

"I’d like to thank both Dec and ITV for their continued support and I look forward to getting back to work in the new year."
