Kim Kardashian West is opening up about a memory from the past: accidentally walking in on her then-stepfather dressed as a woman.
In an interview on ABC’s The Alec Baldwin Show, the mogul shares a memory of seeing Caitlyn Jenner wearing women’s clothing in her mom’s garage.
According to Kim, she was 25 when this happened, dating back to 10 years before Caitlyn publicly came out as transgender in 2015:
“My mom was out of town and I walked in on Caitlyn all dressed up … as a woman in the garage at my mom’s house. I ran inside, packed a bag so fast, shaking, and ran out and called Kourtney. I said, ‘I have to come spend the weekend with you.’ And I was hysterically crying.”
The momma of three continued, sharing what Caitlyn asked of her after the walk-in:
“One day I’ll sit down and I’ll explain this all to you, but until then, please don’t tell a soul and please don’t tell your mother. She’ll kill me.”
There’s been a clear rift between the Kardashian sisters and Jenner after her memoir accused ex-wife Kris Jenner of knowing more about her gender identity than she led on. Still, it seems Cait maintains a relationship with her youngest girls, Kendall and Kylie Jenner.
