She has insisted she ‘no longer cares about materialistic things’, after being subjected to a terrifying robbery in Paris last year.
And insisting the ordeal has changed her outlook on life, Kim Kardashian appears to have turned her attentions away from her usually lavish lifestyle and was spotted taking her daughter North West, four, to deliver food to the homeless.
Cutting a casual figure, the reality star, 36, was noticeably more dressed down than usual, opting for a very minimalist look while embarking on the good deed.

Good deed: Kim Kardashian, 36, was seen taking daughter North West, four, to deliver food to the homeless in Downtown, Los Angeles on Wednesday
Still flaunting her famous figure, however, Kim paired together a slim-fitting grey vest top, that boasted a scooped neckline, and tracksuit trousers that made sure to highlight her more than ample derriere.
She ditched her usual skyscraper heels for a pair of trainers on her feet and accessorised her laid-back look with layered gold pendants around her neck.
Leaving her long blonde tresses down in tousled waves that had been parted in the middle, Kim chose not to forgo her make-up and was seen sporting her usual contoured look and a subtle smokey-eye.
In her hands, the beauty was clutching onto two huge bags of donations, as she and her sister Kourtney, 38, set up a station to hand out food items to those in need.

Family outing: She was seen handing out food items with daughter North close by and keen to lend a hand
Kim was accompanied by her daughter North, clad in camouflage trousers and a black tee, who seemed keen to help out, just like her mother, as she held onto cans of food in her hands.
Kourtney, meanwhile, was joined by her daughter Penelope, five, and son Mason, seven, and like Kim favoured a low-key look comprising of black leggings and a white vest top. She swept her raven-hued locks back into a slick ponytail and donned a stylish pair of shades while filming new scenes for the famous family’s reality show Keeping Up With The Kardashians.
The girls appeared in high spirits as they ferried donations from the car to the table where those could come and collect items from them.

Worn out! It seems all the hard work left little Penelope sleepy as Kourtney was later seen holding her daughter in her arms, as she nestled her head into the star’s chest
Their charitable outing comes a year after Kim vowed to change her ways when it comes to her glamorous lifestyle, after being targeted by armed robbers while staying in Paris for Fashion Week last year.
She was held at gunpoint in her apartment, as thieves stole millions of dollars worth of jewellery, including her engagement ring given to her by husband Kanye West.
It later came to light that the thieves had been following Kim for two years and were able to identify where she was and her possessions from her use of social media.
The terrifying encounter, that left her incredibly shaken, led to Kim changing her ways when it comes to social media, after one of the robbers involved in the heist confirmed that her online activity had helped them to plan and carry out the crime.

Since then, she has purposely pared back her use of her social media accounts and no longer reveals her whereabouts in real time on apps such as Twitter and Instagram and favours posts that are no longer flaunting her wealth and celebrity lifestyle.
During an appearance on The Ellen DeGeneres Show in April earlier this year, Kim explained: ‘I feel like that was so meant to happen to me… I am such a different person. I feel like things happen in your life to teach you things.
‘I was definitely materialistic before, not that there is anything bad with having those things, I worked really hard to get those things.
‘I’m proud of everyone around me that is successful… but I’m so happy that my kids get this me and this is who is raising my kids, I just don’t care about that stuff anymore. I really don’t.’
Candid: Her appearance comes nearly a year after she vowed to change her outlook on her glamorous lifestyle, following her terrifying ordeal in Paris, with the star insisting she is no longer materialistic
‘Everyone gets so excited when they get things, of course when you get engaged you want to show off your ring, when you get a car, no matter what kind is, you feel so happy and so proud and you show it off on social media, but it’s not worth it.
‘I don’t care about that stuff, I don’t care to show off how I used to be. It’s just not who I am anymore.’
Recalling the incident, Kim revealed she has since increased security measures around her home and family so that she is able to ‘sleep at night’ and described the robbery as ‘seven or eight minutes of torture’.
Kim added: ‘But when I look back and analyse it… it could have been way worse.
‘I don’t want to sound like I’m not grateful. I’m out, I’m home. I’m safe. I’m such a better person.’
