Kate Bosworth is a serene beauty at Nat Geo upfronts

Green goddess! Kate Bosworth is a serene beauty at National Geographic upfronts in New York City

National Geographic held their Further Front, which is what they’ve called their upfronts, at Jazz at Lincoln Center in New York City on Wednesday evening.

Kate Bosworth swung by in a full-sleeved pale green dress with a heavy pleated cinched-in portion stressing her enviably trim waistline.

She’ll join a cast that includes Jason Ritter, Michael Kelly, Sarah Wayne Callies and Noel Fisher in the network’s upcoming Iraq War miniseries The Long Road Home.

Based on Martha Raddatz and Mikko Alanne’s nonfiction New York Times bestseller of the same name, the eight episodes will revolve about Black Sunday, the day of a 2004 ambush targeting an American platoon in Baghdad’s Sadr City.

Kate had garnished her ensemble Wednesday night with ornate earrings, black nail polish, a dark red lipstick, a pair of black and tan stilettos and a brown purse.

Jane Lynch had buttoned a glinting blue checked blazer over a buttoned-up black shirt she’d left untucked over black slacks and a pair of black dress shoes.

It emerged Wednesday that she’ll be hosting a live two-hour one-off show on National Geographic called Earth Live on June 9, Deadline have reported.

Off-white bordering snaked about the slightly pleated hem, which was cut off around her knees and allowed for a bit of contrast against her otherwise black outfit.

She had an affectionately gleeful meet-up with Morgan Freeman on the yellow carpet, the two of them leaning into one another for kisses on the cheeks.

Morgan had got on an elegant pinstriped three-piece suit over a white dress shirt he’d worn without a tie, adding in a black and white checked pocket square.
