Kate Beckinsale has a new man, y’all!
The 45-year-old stunner was spotted out in LA on Saturday, having herself a night with 30-year-old actor Jack Whitehall. The two were seen snuggled up and kissing in a booth at a party at a karaoke bar.
So who’s the new, younger guy?
While neither of these two have officially confirmed that they are an item, but here’s what we know so far about Whitehall:
1. He’s a working actor, and you can catch him in Disney’s latest movie, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms. The UK native plays “Harlequin”, and much to his chagrin — he won’t be putting his long lost ballet skills to use. The actor recently told Vogue that he actually enjoyed sneaking into ballet lessons with his sister as a kid:
“I went to see The Nutcracker at the National Ballet when I was a child, and I was quite into ballet. My sister did ballet, and I used to join in on her classes until my father wickedly stopped me and made me do karate, which I hated.”
Whitehall feels lucky to be in the final cut of this new film though, since his role in the hit movie Frozen was unfortunately scrapped.
You can also catch the Brit starring alongside Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson and Emily Blunt in the upcoming movie Jungle Cruise, where he’s rumored to play Disney’s first openly gay character. Sweet!
2. Jack is also a successful stand-up comic, having once held the title of “King of Comedy” at the British Comedy Awards in 2012. Whitehall said he once studied acting with former classmate Robert Pattison — yep, Mr. Twighlight himself — before eventually switching gears and pursuing comedy full time.
3. He even co-hosts a travel series with his 73-year-old dad called Jack Whitehall: Travels With My Father which just wrapped its second season.
Sounds like Kate’s new man is a total catch! We’ll be watching these two for sure.
