Karlie Kloss Will Be Replacing Heidi Klum on Revamped ‘Project Runway’

After it was announced that long-running fashion design-show was returning to the Bravo Network, the show’s main stars, Heidi Klum and Tim Gunn, announced their decision to leave the show to take on new, high-paying roles designing an original fashion-related reality show for Amazon’s aggressive new video content business line. But Bravo just announced that they have found Heidi’s replacement.

Variety Magazine reports that model (and onetime/sometime ‘Squad member) Karlie Kloss will be taking over as the new host and executive producer of the show, taking on the two roles left vacant by Heidi’s departure. Designer and former Project Runway contestant Christian Siriano will be taking on the role of mentor left open by Tim Gunn’s exit.

“As someone who grew up watching Project Runway,” said Kloss to Variety, “I could not be more excited to host and produce a series that provides a platform to aspiring American designers as they pursue their creative and entrepreneurial dreams.”

Elle Editor-in-Chief Nina Garcia will be returning as one of the judges. The show is expected to retain much of the same successful format that kept it on the air on multiple different networks for the past 16 seasons.
