John Legend will release a duet “Written In The Stars” with South Korean band Red Velvet‘s Wendy on October 19.
“Written In The Stars” will be released as part of SM Entertainment’s Station X 0 series, which has seen several artists from different genres collaborate and release songs.
Station X 0 is a digital music project launched by South Korea’s SM Entertainment and SK Telecom.
In a press release, the duet was described as an English-language track “about true love always finding a way.”
“I have been such a fan of John’s work for a long time, so to collaborate with him on this project was a dream,” Wendy added in the press release. “Everything John does, he approaches with excellence, and I can’t wait for fans to see this soon.”
In September, Legend become the first black man and youngest star to reach EGOT status after his Emmy win for Jesus Christ Superstar.
