Going to Las Vegas for Part 2 of “Jersey Shore Family Vacation” meant Pauly D got to take his TV family home.
“When I heard we were going back to Vegas, I was like, ‘That’s perfect, I don’t have to go far, I don’t have to take a flight, that’s my home.’ I get to bring my ‘Jersey Shore’ family [out there] and show them what it’s like in Vegas and how I get down out there,” the 38-year-old DJ told Page Six on Thursday.
Though Pauly D, whose real name is Paul DelVecchio, is most excited for the pool parties and the return of his co-star-turned-wingman Vinny Gaudagnino, the group also heads back to Seaside Heights, NJ, this season, to the same shore house where it all began.
“We walked into the house and it was the same exact way we left it, same smell, everything’s the same. Same furniture, same beds, I don’t know if they washed the sheets,” Pauly joked.
While much has changed since Pauly D & company first invaded the Jersey Shore, the cast remains closer than ever, as Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino’s wedding to longtime girlfriend Lauren Pesce is on the horizon.
“I’m going to DJ the wedding,” said Pauly D. “That’s my gift.”
Although the location of Sorrentino’s bachelor party has yet to be revealed, Pauly D has also dreamed up possible locales to visit, should “Family Vacation” get the green light for Season 3.
“If we go to some place we haven’t gone before, maybe Greece or something like that. That would be fun,” Pauly D said, adding that he and his co-stars could stop by Lindsay Lohan’s Mykonos haunt, Lohan Beach House.
“We could pop by the club, Lindsay’s new spot,” he said.
“Jersey Shore Family Vacation: Part Two” premieres Thursday at 8 p.m. on MTV.
