Is Kylie Jenner Launching a Skincare Line? All Signs Point to Yes

If Kylie Cosmetics products take up all the space in your makeup bag, you’re probably going to have to make some room in your medicine cabinet, too: it looks like Kylie Jenner is coming for your skincare routine.

According to Refinery29, the 21-year-old makeup mogul has filed three trademarks with the United States Patent and Trademark Office, each seemingly related to skincare. Two of the patents’ names “Kylie Skin” and “Skin by Kylie Jenner” seem to cover actual products. “Kylie Skin” was also trademarked for retail store services, which could potentially hint at future skincare-related pop-up stores.

Jenner’s plans to expand her growing beauty empire into the skincare category isn’t that surprising. The youngest Kar-Jen is expected to become the world’s youngest self-made billionaire, and she recently announced that her Kylie Cosmetics range is entering Ulta locations just in time for the holidays.

Plus, just like her sister Kim Kardashian, Jenner has said that she’s got an interest in skincare.

“I’m always learning new things and getting advice from people,” she told Into the Gloss last year. “I do switch my regimen up a lot, I don’t stick with one product. Right now, I’m always exploring. But I always wash my face before I go to sleep, that’s a rule that never changes.”

Two of her go-to skincare products — right now, at least — are also surprisingly affordable. She told Into the Gloss that she swears by Kiehl’s cult-favorite Ultra Facial Cream moisturizer and Mario Badescu’s Drying Lotion for quickly zapping zits.

Although Jenner hasn’t shared when she’ll be launching her latest beauty venture, there is a way to get your hands on new Kylie Cosmetics products in the meantime. She’s going to be revealing her Halloween 2018 collection on Instagram on Oct. 3.
