Holly Willoughby treats lookalike mum to posh lunch ahead of I’m A Celeb debut

Holly Willoughby has said her bittersweet goodbyes to her mum with a slap-up lunch just hours before she hopped on her plane to Australia.

The This Morning presenter is waving farewell to daytime telly and turning her hand to I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here! for the first time, standing in for Ant McPartlin while he focuses on his sobriety after this spring’s drink-drive crash.

Holly, 37, will be joining Declan Donnelly in the jungle as he presents his first series in 16 years without Ant by his side.

The blonde bombshell presenter, who has temporarily handed over her This Morning reins to Rochelle Humes, celebrated her last day in the UK with her beautiful lookalike mum.

She shared a sweet picture of them both to Instagram , revealing she’d taken her mum to the luxury private members club Annabel’s in Mayfair for a long lunch.

"On the day the @spicegirls announce a new tour… I took my mum out for lunch… Mamma I love you… beautiful @annabelsmayfair as our backdrop," she captioned the snap.

The family resemblance could be clearly seen, with mother and daughter both having blue-green eyes, high cheekbones and shoulder-length blonde hair.

The mum of three – who is taking all of her children and husband Dan Baldwin with her to Oz – also got an emotional send-off by her celebrity pals.

Emma Bunton, Nicole Appleton, Shiarra Bell and Niki Demetz all clubbed together clubbed together to buy her an enormous chocolate cake, decorated with Australian flags, koala bears, flip flops, palm trees and cocktail umbrellas.

Next to it, Holly wrote: "Mmmmmm yummy …. my girls know what I like… thank you beautiful ladies @ruby1kid @shishib #nikidemetz and @emmaleebunton ."

They also gifted her with a pocked sized guidebook to Austalia, a mug with all their faces printed on it and – of course – the stereotypical khaki cork hat to wear in the jungle.

It’ll be Holly’s first time presenting from Down Under, and her mate Joe Swash – who yesterday flew out to co-present the spinoff show Extra Camp – told Mirror Online that she only agreed to do it as a favour to Ant.

"She’ll be amazing. She’s perfect," he told us on the Pride Of Britain Awards red carpet.

"She’s such good friends with the boys, and it’s someone doing them a favour, it’s not someone going in to try and enhance their career. Holly’s so good at what she does, she’ll be amazing, and I’m looking forward to it."
