Harry Styles, former One Direction-er and newfound rock ‘n’ roll sex symbol, has just kicked off the press tour for his first-ever movie, but it seems he’s decided that now is the perfect time to call it quits.
While Styles is no stranger to the screen (starting off his career on the X Factor U.K. and starring in all 1D music videos), his casting in Christopher Nolan’s Dunkirk is his first proper stint in a big Hollywood movie.
However, on the red carpet of Dunkirk’s London premiere, Styles said the following to Sky News:
His reasoning for this being his first and last film venture? Well, according to Styles, he reckons that he has peaked too early in his acting career.
To be fair, he has just released his solo album and is doing a hell of a lot of press tours to promote it, so perhaps sustaining an acting career on the side may be a little too much for Styles.
Nevertheless, we look forward to seeing his big screen debut (and last movie potentially ever) soon, when Dunkirk is released in Australia on July 20, 2017.
