After revelling in a triumphant day that saw her receive an OBE from the Duke of Cambridge, Victoria Beckham is showing gratitude to her husband, David Beckham.
On Wednesday, the former Spice Girl took to her Instagram account to share a shot of herself posing outside London’s Buckingham Palace after the investiture ceremony with her husband and her parents, Jackie and Tony Adams.
And she dedicated a gushing note to her spouse of almost 18 years as she captioned the snap: ‘I love u @davidbeckham X Thank you for always supporting and encouraging me to follow my dreams.’ (sic)

She had been given the honour for her contribution to fashion and marked the occasion by hosting a dinner at Casa Cruz restaurant in London that evening.
Her husband David, 41, was in attendance, along with her four children sons Brooklyn, 18, Romeo, 14, Cruz, 12 and daughter Harper, five.
Retired footballer David also posted a touching tribute to his wife on his Facebook page to commemorate her special honour.

He told fans that he ‘couldn’t be prouder of her’ as he shared a photograph of the star standing with her OBE.
He wrote in an accompanying caption: ‘Yesterday was a special day, this young lady was awarded an OBE. As a family we couldn’t be prouder… A hard working woman, mother and wife… congratulations xxxxx.’
Despite his gushing comments, David became embroiled in an email hacking scandal in February, surrounding his honour.

The former England captain dismissed lower awards, ranting: ‘Unless it’s a knighthood f*** off’.
According to the revelations, the Honours Committee had already agreed that Beckham’s nomination – almost certainly proposed by his PR advisers – was well ‘merited’ before a routine check of his tax affairs.

A representative for the star dismissed the contents of the messages as ‘outdated material taken out of context from hacked and doctored private emails from a third-party server’.

Victoria, who celebrated her 43rd birthday on Monday, received the award on Wednesday – more than 13 years after her husband and the former England captain was granted the same title for his services to football.
The former pop star received her honour from the Duke of Cambridge in recognition of her 17-year career in the fashion industry that has seen her become one of the biggest names in the business.
She wore a floor-length black dress and high purple heels and looked chirpy as she waited to go into the ceremony.
