England squad revealed for Spain and Croatia matches

Gareth Southgate has made three new call-ups for his England squad.

As revealed by Mirror Sport, Borussia Dortmund teenager Jadon Sancho is included along with Derby’s on-loan Mason Mount and Leicester’s James Maddision.

England boss Southgate has also given recalls to Harry Winks and Nathaniel Chalobah for the Nations League double header with Croatia and Spain.

But this is a revolutionary squad with Sancho, Mount and Maddison seen as the future.

England are without injured pair Jesse Lingard and Dele Alli for the upcoming matches with Chelsea’s Ross Barkley also recalled.

Meanwhile, Southgate has put pen to paper on a new contract until 2022 after admitting it was an “incredible privilege and a true honour” to be England manager.

Southgate, 48, has signed up until the next World Cup and been given a pay rise up to £2.5m-a-year after last summer’s brilliant campaign in Russia.

“Experiencing at first first hand how the national united behind the team this summer was something special and it will e great to see how far this young squad can go in the years to come."
