Chris Brown’s ex-lover and baby mother has reportedly demanded a huge increase in child support payments.
According to The Blast, Nia Guzman filed documents in California to modify the amount she receives from the With You hitmaker for their four-year-old daughter, Royalty.
Brown currently pays Guzman $2,500 (£1,900) per month in support and another $4,000 (£3,000) for a nanny, who happens to be Nia’s mother.
In new legal documents filed on Friday (31Aug18), Guzman claims the hip-hop star has earned more than $4.2 million (£3.2 million) over the last two years, which can be broken down to just over $350,000 per month.
Under the guidelines for child support in California, which is based on income, Guzman claimed she should receive at least $21,000 (£16,000) per month.
She also demanded $250,000 (£192,000) in child support back-payments.
While Brown dismissed his ex-lover’s latest attempt for more money, the judge overseeing the case sided with Guzman.
A decision will be made later this month after the court reviews all the financial documents about the Forever singer’s income, according to The Blast.
