The host last presented Soccer Aid in 2014
CAT Deeley will return to UK television as the presenter of Sky’s new show Sing It.
The former SM:TV Live host will front the programme, which sees 30 groups sing without backing music.
Cat, 40, has been working in America on shows like Big Star Little Star and So You Think You Can Dance.
She returns UK television for the first time since presenting Soccer Aid in 2014.
Her last full-time role was in 2011 for Britain’s version of So You Think You Can Dance.
Cat said: “I couldn’t be more excited about Sing It.
“I remember singing in choir, when I was a kid and loving every minute.
“We have the very best performers on the show – they have no backing tracks and no instruments, just their own incredible voices and talent.
“The British a cappella scene is so exciting and I’m thrilled to be able to be a part of it.”
Groups on the show will go head-to-head over three rounds shown on seven episodes as the contestants belt out songs by the likes of The Weeknd, Coldplay and Mumford and Sons.
A Christmas single and an album are up for grabs for the lucky winner.
The brains behind the X Factor and Britain’s Got Talent will oversee Sing It.
