The hunky telly favourite also hopes to crack Hollywood or land a gig on Broadway while he’s over there
THE farthest Dr Caleb Knight ever ventured from Casualty’s A&E was The Hope and Anchor pub next door.
But actor RICHARD WINSOR is dreaming much bigger than his tragic character.
After Caleb was stabbed to death in the BBC hospital drama on Saturday, I can reveal Richard plans to move Stateside to be nearer his long-term model girlfriend Gabriella Kuti, who is based in Los Angeles.
And the hunky telly favourite hopes to crack Hollywood or land a gig on Broadway while he’s over there.
A source said: “Rich has been constantly jetting back and forth between the Casualty set in Cardiff and the US to visit Gabi, who he has been dating on and off for several years now.
“He has found it exhausting maintaining such a long-distance relationship while holding down a demanding job.
“He thinks that by moving across the Pond he will be able to have a top acting role as well as see Gabi regularly.
“Rich loves the LA lifestyle and has always had his heart set on doing something on the big screen or the stage, so this could be the first step to a huge career.”
Richard’s move to America comes after his Casualty character was killed off in a shocking murder storyline.

The Holby doc was knifed as he tried to stop a dead patient’s son, Scott Ellison, from carrying out a revenge attack on his brother Ethan — played by GEORGE RAINSFORD.
In a post-exit interview Richard, who first appeared on the show in January 2014, teased fans that he could be moving abroad.
He said: “I’ve had a wonderful time but, after three-and-a-half years of doing great storylines, I decided I wanted to find new challenges and explore new places in the world.”
He added: “When you’ve played one character for a few years, you want to mix it up and that’s my plan.”
I’m sure he would do a fantastic job in Hollywood.
JOHN MIDDLETON could be swapping the Yorkshire Dales for a galaxy far, far away – as he eyes a Star Wars film role.
He bowed out of Emmerdale last month after 20 years when his character, vicar Ashley Thomas, tragically lost his battle with dementia.
But John, who also had bit parts in Corrie in the mid-Nineties, now hopes to break into Hollywood.
In an exclusive interview, he revealed: “I’d quite like to go into movies – being an international star in Hollywood, I fancy that.
“If I could do a cameo in any movie it’d be Star Wars or something like that. I’d love to be a Stormtrooper or arch baddy.”

John is also up for a top role in a TV drama.
He said: “That’s where the most exciting TV work is.
“The UK has become an engine of TV drama that gets exported round the world.
“I haven’t been snapped up as yet – I’m waiting for those TV dragons or sharks to come and snap me up.”
I’m sure they will be along in no time.
ITV2 are launching a new celebrity gameshow called CelebAbility.
Five celebs will compete with five members of the public each week, as they take on “funny, silly, messy and rude” physical challenges.
It begins filming at the end of this month and one ad reads: “A panel of friends will go head-to-head against our celebrity guests. It’s going to be lots and lots of fun and top celebrity guests are guaranteed.”
WHAT? Micky Flanagan Thinking Aloud, Sky1, 9pm.
WHY? The cockney comic tackles more of life’s big questions in this fine series. Tonight it’s the difference between an underdog and loser, as he explores how Brits see themselves.
THE Island With BEAR GRYLLS has seen grisly injuries, walkouts, violent storms and controversy over killing animals.
So it’s saying something that Bear insists the reality show’s latest episode is the most “horrific” yet.
He compared the islanders’ behaviour in tonight’s episode to Lord Of The Flies – William Golding’s classic book about shipwrecked boys who turn savage and murderous while stranded on a desert island.
The adventurer revealed the latest crop have turned on each other even more than usual, resulting in one being kicked out.
He said: “Honestly, it was the hardest season we’ve done.
“We had horrific conditions, beyond anything we’ve ever seen over five years of this show.
The Island viewers left baffled after spotting what appears to be a sex toy on Bear Grylls’ show
“The Island really did go quite Lord Of The Flies. You never knew what you were going to get.
“Every hour brought a fresh twist.
“It was a full-on mental, physical, emotional and spiritual assault.”
While an emotional tempest raged inside the camp, the weather only added to the drama.
Bear said: “They got absolutely smashed by torrential rain and crazy winds that lasted day after day after day without let-up.
“Trying to keep a fire going in those terrifying conditions becomes near-impossible.
“It really became a case of, ‘Can you just stick this out?’, because it became truly grim.”
Sounds truly awful.
GOOD news for All Round To Mrs Brown’s fans – Mammy will open her door again, for a second run of the comedy talk show.
Creator BRENDAN O’CARROLL said: “We’re excited 2018 will see party time at the Browns’ house again.”
THE return of Rob Donovan was always going to spell trouble in CORONATION STREET.
During tonight’s episode, Tracy ends up in the Peak District as she helps to hide her killer boyfriend.
She’s holed up in a cottage with daughter Amy, who she suspects pushed Ken Barlow down the stairs, and Rob who escaped from prison after being locked up for the murder of Tina McIntyre. I’m sure they won’t be able to stay hidden for long.
Meanwhile, down under in NEIGHBOURS, disaster strikes at the Erinsborough Backpackers as Amy’s car smashes into the complex.
Piper Willis and David Tanaka are among the casualties as they get trapped beneath the rubble.
