Cardi B is laughing now.
On Saturday, the “Bodak Yellow” rapper, who got into a scuffle with Nicki Minaj at the Harper’s Bazaar ICONS party on Friday, Sept. 7, shared a snap of a young fan in a dress similar to the red Dolce & Gabbana gown she wore to the New York Fashion Week fête.
“Sooooooo buteeeeee❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️ she forgot the knot ?????,” Cardi 25, captioned on Instagram, referencing the bump she sported on her forehead following the ill-fated fashion affair.
Tensions between Minaj, 35, and rival Cardi escalated earlier this month at the Plaza Hotel, in which the music superstars were said to have come to blows.
“It was bad,” a source told Page Six. “They were separated by security, but Cardi was still trying to get at her. She took off a giant red shoe and threw it at Nicki — who was being blocked up against a wall by huge security guard.”
Taking to Instagram following the incident, Cardi appeared to claim comments about daughter Kulture set her over the edge.
“I addressed you once in person, I addressed you a second time in person, and every time you copped the plea!! But when you mention my child, you choose to like comments about me as a mother, make comments about my abilities to take care of my daughter is when all bets are f–kin off!!” She wrote.
Minaj later addressed the event on Beat’s 1 Queen Radio, calling the experience “mortifying and humiliating.”
“I would never ridicule anyone’s child,” Minaj said of Cardi’s comments. “[It’s] so sad for someone to pin that on somebody. … I would never talk about anyone’s child or parenting. … These lies are ridiculous.”
