Asia Argento‘s lawyer is giving Jimmy Bennett a warning.
According to TMZ, on Thursday, attorney Mark Heller sent the actor a letter in regards to his reported upcoming interview with an Italian television station sometime this weekend.
The No Ordinary Family star’s words will be carefully monitored for any “slanderous, defamatory or untruthful statements” concerning Argento and their May 9, 2013 encounter.
If they feel he crosses a line, the actress — who is originally from Italy — and her counsel will take legal action.
As we reported, both thespians have accused each other of sexual misconduct in a Marina del Rey, California hotel room when Bennett was just 17.
Bennett has filed a claim with the L.A. County Sheriff’s Dept., which have not yet opened a criminal investigation.
