Ant and Dec ‘aren’t going to be neighbours any more’

Ant McPartlin is reportedly moving away from his best pal Dec Donnelly after years of living next door to each other.

The I’m A Celebrity presenter is said to have bought a £5 million mansion in South West London, which he plans to renovate as part of his recovery from prescription drug and alcohol addiction.

But moving into the home means he’ll no longer live next door to Dec , and will instead be a 30-minute drive away.

It’s reported that Ant’s ex-wife Lisa Armstrong – they were granted a divorce this week – is expected to remain living in the marital home.

A friend and Ant’s told The Sun : "Ant is very excited about his new house.

"The next couple of months will be difficult for him, given he’s not in Australia with Dec for I’m A Celebrity. But this house provides him a fresh start.

"He is going to completely renovate it and make it his dream home."

The pal added that it’s a "big project" that Ant is going to "throw himself into" before going back to work.

The insider also said that Ant’s girlfriend – and former PA – Anne-Marie Corbett won’t be moving into his new home, as she lives nearby with her two children.

They added that the couple are happy but "taking it slow".

It comes after reports that Ant could lose half his £62 million fortune in his divorce from Lisa.

The former couple won’t be completely divorced until their decree absolute is announced in about six weeks time – and until they’ve worked out how to divide Ant’s fortune.

Ant’s earnings were revealed when he was in court earlier this year as he pleaded guilty to drink driving when it emerged the ITV star brings in £130,000 per week.

It is estimated the 42-year-old is worth £62million pounds in total, which means Lisa could be in line to receive up to £31million, as well as a share of the couple’s £12million mansion in West London and a sum of his future earnings, too.

Mirror Online has contacted Ant’s representatives for comment.
