Ever since Urban Decay released its first Naked Palette back in 2012, the Naked mania has been real. Fast forward five years and there’s an entire Naked line with dozens of products including eye shadow palettes, lip gloss, blush, color correctors, and even nail polish. Now, say hello to the newest addition to the Naked family — Naked Skin The Illuminizer Translucent Pressed Beauty Powder. And the Internet has gone wild for it.
Urban Decay posted a teaser of the powder on Instagram yesterday with the caption: “Knock out shine. keep your glow. The Illuminizer.” The post has already racked up more than 90,000 likes and hundreds of comments. The biggest fear? The brand will do away with the popular Ultra Definition Pressed Finishing Powder, but there’s no sign of that just yet. So, how does this new launch differ? Well, this powder is sheer and is meant to diffuse light, blurring any flaws. Like the Ultra Definition powder, it has a silky feel and is easily layered.
You can apply it lightly to get that blurring effect, or go a little heavier for some highlight action. While it’s said to work on all skin tones, you have to be really careful with it on deeper tones as it can come up chalky if you’re too heavy handed. Those who love Urban Decay’s setting powder will love this one too, though.
